Faucet repair in Apollo Beach, where salt air meets every fixture
The faucet is the plumbing you touch most, so a drip or a wobbly handle wears thin quickly.
Most faucet repair in Apollo Beach, FL falls into one of two groups. Inside the house, worn cartridges, washers and O-rings cause drips, temperature drift and handles that will not shut off cleanly. Outside, salt air from the canals pits plated finishes and corrodes hose bibs and outdoor shower valves until they seize or split.
Homes built in the last twenty years often came with builder-grade faucets that use plastic internals and plated bodies. They can be repaired, but sometimes a replacement with a solid brass body and ceramic cartridge is the better long-term call. We will tell you honestly which side of that line your fixture is on.
A new faucet is only as good as its installation. We replace old supply lines, swap any seized shut-off for a quarter-turn valve and mount the fixture so it will not loosen with daily use. Our general faucet repair and installation page covers the service in more depth.

Repair or replace
Fixing the faucet you have or fitting a new one
Repair makes sense when
- The body and finish are still sound
- Only a cartridge, washer or seal has worn
- Replacement parts are available for the brand
- You are happy with how the faucet looks and works
Replace when
- The finish is pitted or the body is corroded
- The faucet has been repaired more than once already
- Parts are no longer made for the model
- You want better flow, a pull-down sprayer or a sturdier build

Apollo Beach questions
Faucet Repair & Installation in Apollo Beach: common questions
Which faucets hold up best near salt water in Apollo Beach?
Faucets with solid brass bodies and quality finishes resist salt air far better than plated plastic. Ceramic disc cartridges also tend to outlast rubber washers. For outdoor spigots and showers, we recommend fittings designed for coastal exposure and suggest rinsing them with fresh water now and then to slow corrosion.
Should I repair or replace a dripping faucet?
If the faucet is in good shape and parts are available, replacing the cartridge or seals is usually the economical fix. If the finish is pitted, the body is corroded or the faucet has already been repaired more than once, replacement is better value. We will show you what we find and let you decide.
Will you install a faucet I have already bought?
Yes. We install customer-supplied faucets from all major brands. We check that the new fixture fits your sink holes and countertop, replace the supply lines and test for leaks before we leave. If anything about the faucet you bought will cause trouble, we will mention it before installation.
Why is my faucet suddenly running at low pressure?
If only one faucet is affected, the aerator or cartridge is usually clogged with mineral scale or debris. Unscrew the aerator and rinse it. If the flow is still weak, the cartridge may need replacing. Low pressure across the whole house points to a different problem, so let us know which fixtures are affected.
