Real emergencies
When you need a 24/7 emergency plumber, and when it can wait
Not every plumbing problem is an emergency. The ones that are get worse with every minute of running water.
Our office keeps regular hours on weekdays and Saturday mornings, but the phone line stays open around the clock for situations that cannot sit until morning. As a 24/7 emergency plumber, we focus on stopping damage first: finding the shutoff, isolating the failed line or fixture, and making the home safe before deciding on the permanent repair.
Water emergencies move quickly in Florida. Drywall wicks moisture upward, laminate floors swell and humid air gives mold a head start on anything left wet. A sewage backup adds a health hazard on top of the water damage. That is why the first few minutes on the phone matter as much as the visit itself.
If you are not sure whether your situation qualifies, call (941) 541-7473 and describe it. We will tell you honestly whether it needs someone now or whether a shut valve and a morning appointment will do.

What we respond to
Plumbing emergencies we handle day and night
Burst or split pipes
Supply lines that fail inside a wall, ceiling or under a sink can soak a room fast. We isolate the line and repair or replace the damaged section.
Sewage backups
Waste water rising in tubs, showers or floor drains means the main line is blocked. We clear it and find out why.
Leaking or failed water heaters
A tank leaking from the bottom will not seal itself. See our urgent water heater replacement page for what happens next.
Overflowing toilets
A toilet that keeps running over after you close its supply valve, or several toilets backing up at once, needs attention tonight.
Slab and hidden leaks
Warm spots on the floor, the sound of running water or a meter that will not stop spinning all point to a pressurized line leaking out of sight. Our slab leak repair team locates it.
Storm-related problems
Heavy rain and storms can overwhelm drains, sump pumps and septic systems. We also offer storm-prep inspections before the season starts.

First five minutes
What to do before the plumber arrives
These steps limit damage regardless of what failed.
- Close the main water shutoff, usually near the meter or where the line enters the house
- For a single fixture, close its own valve under the sink or behind the toilet instead
- Turn off power or gas to the water heater if the main water supply is shut
- Stop using sinks, toilets and showers if sewage is backing up
- Move furniture, rugs and electronics out of the wet area
- Take photos of the damage for your records and insurance
- If you smell gas, leave the house and call the gas utility or 911 from outside
Tonight or tomorrow
Call now vs. schedule for the morning
A quick way to judge urgency when it is late and you are deciding what to do.
Call the 24/7 line now
- Water is actively spreading and you cannot stop it at a valve
- Sewage is coming up into the home
- The water heater is leaking from the tank itself
- You have no water at all, or no toilet that works
- Water is near outlets, panels or appliances
Usually safe to schedule
- A dripping faucet or a toilet that runs but does not overflow
- One slow drain while the rest of the house works
- A small leak you have stopped by closing a fixture valve
- Lukewarm water from a heater that is not leaking
How a call goes
From your phone call to a stable home
Talk it through
We ask what you see, walk you through shutting off water and tell you what to expect before anyone arrives.
Stop the damage
On site, we confirm the water is off, isolate the failed component and make the area safe.
Price the repair
You get the diagnosis and the total before the permanent repair begins, even in the middle of the night.
Repair or plan
We complete the repair or, if a bigger job is needed, leave the home stable and schedule the rest.
Emergency pricing, explained honestly
What an emergency visit costs depends on the time of the call, what failed, how hard it is to reach and whether parts or a larger repair are needed. You get upfront pricing with no hidden fees, and you approve the price before the repair starts. For larger jobs such as a water heater or line replacement, financing is available for qualifying customers; ask when you call. Redemption Family Plan members ($175 per year) receive priority scheduling and repair discounts.
Prevention
Making your next emergency smaller
Find your main shutoff today and make sure it actually turns. Valves that sit untouched for years often seize at the worst moment. Replace rubber washing machine hoses with braided ones, keep an eye on water heaters as they age, and get a slow main line checked before it becomes a backup.
Seasonal and rental owners should shut the water off or arrange regular checks when a property sits empty. An annual inspection, included with our Family Plan, is a good time to test valves and spot weak points. For a broader view of what we look after, see our residential plumbing services.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do you answer the emergency line on weekends and holidays?
Yes. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM and Saturday 8 AM to noon, but the emergency line at (941) 541-7473 is answered 24 hours a day, every day. When you call, we talk through the situation and tell you what we can do and when.
My pipe burst and I cannot find the main shutoff. What now?
Check near the water meter, often in a box by the street, and along the wall where the main line enters the house or garage. Some homes have a valve on the line feeding the water heater as well. If you still cannot find it, call us; we can talk you through where to look while help is on the way.
Is a sewage backup covered by emergency service?
Yes. Sewage coming up through drains is one of the most urgent calls we take because it brings contaminated water into the home. Stop using all fixtures, keep people and pets away from the area and call. We clear the blockage and identify whether roots, a collapsed section or something else caused it.
Is after-hours service worth it, or should I wait until morning?
If water is spreading or sewage is backing up, waiting usually costs more than the call, because damage keeps growing overnight. If you can stop the problem with a fixture valve and the rest of the home works, a morning appointment is often fine. We will tell you which applies when you describe the problem.
