Kitchen Plumber Services in Bradenton, Sarasota & Pinellas

Leaks under the sink, slow drains, a dripping faucet or a new fridge that needs water: one licensed team for every pipe and connection in your kitchen.

The busiest room

What kitchen plumber services cover

More plumbing meets in the kitchen than anywhere else in the house, all packed into one sink cabinet.

A typical kitchen sink base holds hot and cold supply valves, a faucet, a drain trap, a garbage disposal, a dishwasher supply and drain, and often a water line running to the refrigerator. Each connection is a place a small leak can start, and because the cabinet is closed most of the day, those leaks tend to go unnoticed until the cabinet floor softens.

Our kitchen plumber services handle all of it: repairing and replacing sinks and faucets, clearing kitchen drains, fixing or replacing disposals, hooking up dishwashers, running ice maker lines and reworking plumbing during a kitchen update. Because one visit can address several connections, it often makes sense to have everything checked at once.

Homes across Manatee, Sarasota and Pinellas counties range from older block houses with galvanized or early copper lines to newer builds with plastic piping. The materials under your sink shape what we recommend, so we look before we quote.

What we fix

Kitchen plumbing work we handle

  • Sinks and faucets

Drips, low flow, loose handles and worn cartridges, plus full replacements. See our faucet repair and installation page for more.

  • Kitchen drain clogs

Grease, starches and food solids collect in the trap and the line behind the wall. We clear it fully and explain what caused it.

  • Garbage disposals

Jams, leaks and dead motors repaired, or the unit replaced when repair is not worth it. Details are on our disposal repair page.

  • Dishwasher connections

Supply, drain and air gap or high loop set up correctly so the unit fills, drains and stays dry underneath.

  • Ice maker and fridge lines

New water lines run to the refrigerator, and brittle plastic tubing replaced before it cracks behind the appliance.

  • Shutoff valves

Seized or weeping angle stops replaced so you can actually turn off water to the sink in a hurry.

Repair or rework

Everyday kitchen repairs vs. remodel plumbing

Most calls are repairs. When a kitchen is being updated, the plumbing work changes shape.

Repairs in the existing layout

  • Faucets, traps, valves and supply lines replaced in place
  • Drain clogs cleared and leaks sealed
  • Disposal or dishwasher connections corrected
  • Usually completed in a single visit

Remodel and layout changes

  • Moving the sink means new drain, vent and supply routing
  • Adding an island sink or prep sink takes careful drain planning
  • Old valves and lines are best replaced while walls are open
  • Planned with the timeline of the rest of the project

How we work

What to expect from a kitchen plumbing visit

  1. Look at everything under the sink

We check valves, supply lines, drain trap, disposal and dishwasher connections, not just the part you called about.

  2. Explain and price

You get the diagnosis, any options and the total cost before work begins.

  3. Repair cleanly

We protect counters and floors, make the repair and leave the cabinet clean and dry.

  4. Test every connection

Faucet, disposal and dishwasher are run together to confirm good flow and no leaks.

What shapes the cost of kitchen plumbing work

Simple repairs like a faucet cartridge or trap replacement cost less than jobs that involve opening walls, running new lines or relocating a sink. Pipe material, access in the cabinet and how many fixtures are involved also matter. You get a free phone estimate and an upfront price to approve before we start. For larger remodel plumbing, ask about financing for qualifying jobs, and Redemption Family Plan members ($175 per year) receive repair discounts and priority scheduling.

Prevention

Simple habits that protect kitchen plumbing

Pour cooled grease into a container instead of the sink, scrape plates into the trash, and run cold water with the disposal. Open the sink cabinet every month or two and run your hand along the supply lines and drain joints; a little moisture is your early warning.

Replace plastic ice maker tubing with braided or copper line, and check the shutoff valves once a year so they turn when you need them. Our annual Family Plan inspection includes a look at kitchen connections, and if you ever notice a spike in your water bill with no visible drip, our leak locating service can find the source.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Why does water collect in the cabinet under my kitchen sink?

The usual culprits are a loose slip nut on the drain trap, a worn faucet base seal, a weeping shutoff valve, the dishwasher drain connection or a leak at the disposal. Dry everything with a towel, run the faucet and then the dishwasher, and watch where water appears first. If you cannot pin it down, we can trace it in one visit.

Why is my kitchen faucet low on pressure when the rest of the house is fine?

When only one faucet is weak, the cause is usually local: a clogged aerator, a scaled-up cartridge or a partly closed or failing shutoff valve. Hard water makes this common in our area. Cleaning the aerator is a good first step; if that does not help, the cartridge or valve likely needs attention.

Can you run a water line to a new refrigerator?

Yes. We tap a cold water line, add a dedicated shutoff and run a durable line to the refrigerator location, routed so it will not kink when the fridge is pushed back. If an old plastic line is already there, we usually recommend replacing it, since it can become brittle and crack.

Can a plumber move my kitchen sink to an island?

In many homes, yes, but an island sink needs a drain path with proper slope and venting, which is more involved than a wall sink, especially on a slab. We look at the layout, the floor construction and where the existing drain runs, then explain the options and price before anything is opened up.
