Faucets in Clearwater
Faucet repair in Clearwater FL often starts below the faucet
A new faucet on an old valve is a new faucet that will disappoint you.
Good faucet repair in Clearwater, FL depends on looking past the spout. In many older mainland homes, the faucet itself is fine and the real fault is a corroded angle stop under the sink or a galvanized supply line that has rusted down to a fraction of its bore. Swap the faucet without addressing that, and the new one will drip from a weeping valve or trickle at half pressure.
So we check the whole feed: the shut-off valves, the supply lines and the condition of the pipe behind the wall. When those parts are worn, we replace them at the same time so you are not calling us back in a few months.
In beach-side condos, faucet work has an extra step. Water may have to be isolated at the unit or even the building, and we coordinate shut-offs so neighbors are not without water any longer than necessary.

Repair or replace?
When to fix your faucet and when to replace it
Usually worth repairing
- A good-quality faucet with a worn cartridge or washer
- A drip from the spout with no corrosion on the body
- A loose handle or a leaking O-ring
- Low flow caused by a clogged aerator
Usually time to replace
- Pitted or corroded finish with leaks at the base
- Parts that are no longer made for that model
- Cracked body or repeated failures after repairs
- You are updating the sink or countertop anyway

Clearwater questions
Faucet Repair & Installation in Clearwater: common questions
Can you install a faucet I have already bought?
Yes. We are happy to install a faucet you have chosen. We check that it suits your sink and the number of holes, and we look at the stops and supply lines first. If those need replacing, you will know the price before we begin, so there are no surprises once the old faucet is off.
Why does my new faucet have low pressure in an older Clearwater home?
The faucet is usually not the cause. Galvanized supply lines rust from the inside and narrow over time, and old angle stops can partially close with mineral buildup. Debris knocked loose during installation can also clog the new aerator. We check each of these before blaming the fixture.
My outdoor spigot near the beach keeps corroding. What can I do?
Salt air is hard on exposed brass and the cheaper fittings used on many hose bibs. Replacing it with a better-quality valve and making sure it is properly secured to the wall helps it last longer. We can also check whether the leak is coming from the pipe behind it.
