Toilet Repair Services & Installation in Bradenton, Manatee, Sarasota & Pinellas

Running, rocking, leaking or clogging toilets fixed properly, and new toilets set level on a fresh seal. You get a straight answer on repair versus replacement before work starts.

Small fixture, big consequences

Why toilet repair services are worth calling early

A toilet that runs at night wastes water. A toilet that leaks at the base quietly destroys the floor under it.

Our toilet repair services cover every part of the fixture: the flapper, fill valve and flush valve in the tank; the handle and chain; the wax ring and flange where the toilet meets the drain; the supply line and shut-off valve; and the bowl and trapway where clogs form. When a toilet is past saving, we install a new one.

Mineral-heavy water across much of our area is tough on tank parts. Scale builds on flappers and fill valves until they no longer seal, rim jets clog so flushes weaken, and iron in some water supplies leaves rust stains that scrubbing will not remove.

The bigger risk is the leak you cannot see. A failed wax ring or cracked flange lets a little water out with every flush, softening subfloor and staining ceilings below. In seasonal homes and rentals on Longboat Key, Siesta Key and similar spots where owners are away for months, that slow seep can run unnoticed for a long time.

What we fix

Toilet repairs and installations we handle

  • Running toilets

Worn flappers, fill valves, flush valves and handles replaced so the tank stops trickling into the bowl around the clock.

  • Leaks at the base

We pull the toilet, replace the wax ring, repair or replace the flange and reset it level and secure.

  • Clogs and weak flushes

Stubborn clogs cleared with a closet auger and scaled rim jets cleaned so the flush has its full force again.

  • New toilet installation

Old unit removed, new toilet matched to your rough-in and set with a new seal and supply line.

  • Comfort-height and water-saving models

Taller bowls that are easier to use and high-efficiency toilets that use less water per flush.

  • Shut-offs and supply lines

Seized angle stops and aging supply lines replaced before they fail and flood the bathroom.

Repair or replace

When to repair a toilet and when to replace it

We quote both when both are reasonable, and tell you which we would choose.

Repair makes sense when

  • The problem is a worn tank part, handle or supply line
  • The tank and bowl are free of cracks
  • The toilet flushes well once rim jets are cleared
  • A base leak is caused by the seal or flange, not the toilet itself

Replacement makes sense when

  • The tank or bowl is cracked, even slightly
  • It clogs constantly because of an old, inefficient design
  • Parts are hard to find for an older or unusual model
  • You want a comfort-height or lower-water-use toilet
  • You are remodeling the bathroom anyway

Our process

How our toilet service works

  1. Diagnose

We check tank parts, the seal at the floor, the flange, the supply valve and how well the toilet flushes.

  2. Quote repair vs. replace

If a repair makes sense, we say so. If the toilet is worn out, you see replacement options and the price.

  3. Repair or install

Parts are replaced, or the new toilet is set on a fresh seal, leveled and connected to a new supply line.

  4. Test and clean up

Several test flushes, a leak check at the base and supply, and the area left clean.

Cost and upkeep

What affects the price, and how to avoid the next repair

A flapper or fill valve is a modest repair. A base leak costs more when the flange is broken or the subfloor has softened. A new toilet's price depends on the model you choose, the rough-in and whether the floor or flange needs work. Call (941) 541-7473 for a free phone estimate; the price is approved before work begins.

To keep toilets healthy, flush only waste and toilet paper. Wipes, including those labeled flushable, cause many of the clogs we clear and can travel further to block the main sewer line. Check for silent leaks by adding a few drops of food coloring to the tank; color in the bowl without flushing means the flapper is leaking.

Turn the supply valve occasionally so it does not seize, and replace old supply lines before they fail. If clogs keep returning in more than one toilet, the issue is likely further down, and our drain clearing service or a camera inspection will find it. Commercial restrooms are covered by our commercial plumbing team.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Why does my toilet keep running?

The usual causes are a flapper that no longer seals, a fill valve set too high or failing, or a chain that is too long or too short. Hard water speeds up wear on all three. Most running toilets are fixed by replacing the tank parts, which is quicker and cheaper than replacing the toilet.

Is water at the base of the toilet serious?

Yes. It usually means the wax seal or flange has failed and water is getting under the flooring with each flush. Over time it can rot subfloor and damage ceilings below. Caught early, it is a straightforward repair: pull the toilet, replace the seal, fix the flange if needed and reset it.

What should I do if my toilet is overflowing?

Turn the shut-off valve behind the toilet clockwise until it stops. If the valve is stuck, lift the tank lid and raise the float to stop the fill. Do not flush again until the clog is cleared. If water has reached flooring or other drains are backing up, call our 24/7 line at (941) 541-7473.

Can you install toilets in rentals and businesses?

Yes. We work in homes, condos, vacation rentals, offices, restaurants and multi-unit properties. Landlords and property managers get the same diagnosis, upfront quote and leak test on every unit we work on.
